Great Buffalo Hunt Window

Studio not known: identity requested.

This spectacular window is based on a painting by the American artist Frederick Remington (1861-1909). Removed from a Winnipeg mansion when it was demolished, the window is now at The Manitoba Museum.

We are uncertain whether the window was made by an American or Canadian studio.

In 2010, we will add a substantial section on Manitoba's rich heritage of stained glass thanks to support from the Manitoba Heritage Foundation.
